Sasha, a burglar, breaks into a house where he witnesses a crime: the owner of the house, Chernov, killed his wife. Chernov begins to pursue the escaped witness. Meanwhile, Sasha needs to get to his son's matinee, because the future of his marriage, which he is trying with all his might to save, depends on it.
