Plot synopsis
Yana lives in a northern sea town. She collects stamps and waits for her father, who abandoned their family long ago. She does not hope that he will return, she just loves to wait and believes that the ability to wait is a quality of true philatelists. Yana is a very strong person. The consequences of cerebral palsy are almost invisible, a slight limp and some strangeness, as it seems to her, give her additional charm. However, her friend Kolya does not think so. Yana is offended that he does not see her as a woman... One day on the beach she meets a sailor named Peter. He is a very attractive man who also collects... women. A short-term romance flares up, and Yana becomes part of his "collection". Peter, as befits a sailor, goes to sea, but Yana is happy - it is wonderful when there is someone to wait for, even if this person never appears in her life again. After all, our whole life is waiting...
