Egor is in his final year of school, is a boxer, and is friends with a girl. It would be a normal teenage life, if not for his brother, who has cerebral palsy, and Egor devotes all his time to caring for him while his parents escape their problems to work. Everything changes when a new teacher arrives at school, a young woman who just graduated from college. Egor's parents are against his new love—who will look after their youngest now? A difficult choice leads the family to a tragedy from which there seems to be no escape. But there is always a beacon—you just need to know how to light it.
"For me, "Mayak" represents a huge amount of intense creative work.
