Plot synopsis
Found by chance at a flea market in Serbia, notebooks containing musical scores brought to the world's attention an unknown composer, Alexei Butakov, a descendant of a prominent family in the Russian navy. His music, composed during his imprisonment in a Nuremberg camp, helped many prisoners regain their morale and survive.
