Plot synopsis
The title of the film "My Dears! My Good Ones!" is a verse from Sergei Yesenin's poem "Pugachev," consciously chosen by the author. The thirty-year-old filmmaker, addressing the audience on behalf of the protagonist, reveals the mystery of the poet's murder, having previously completed four years of research to create a film about Yesenin's life.
The narrators portray the poet not as a hooligan or a lecher, but as an organized, responsible man who loved his country and its people. Unique materials are on display, such as documents and photographs from the family archive of the poet's niece, Svetlana Petrovna Yesenina.
