Following the death of his guardian, ten-year-old Adil finds himself an orphan for the second time. On the day of the funeral, the deceased’s adult children arrive at the house, and the boy hopes that one of them will take him in. But it soon becomes clear that the inheritance may not be at all what he had hoped for.
