Plot synopsis
To become the mistress of the world, the wicked witch needs a kind-hearted child. To do this, she tries to attract Yakob, son of the clog maker Khaïnts and his wife Ganna. When Yakob refuses, the witch transforms him into the monstrous "Karlik Nos" and makes him age by 7 years, hoping to regain his initial appearance. Yakob will eventually give in.
During these seven years, many things have happened: Khaïnts died of grief, and Ganna does not recognize her son, whom everyone makes fun of. Karlik is in despair. One day, a goose saves his life. However, this goose is in fact Princess Greta, the king's daughter, whom the witch has kidnapped and transformed. Greta and Karlik will love each other and undergo many misadventures before being able to put an end to the witch's misdeeds.
