Born on April 17, 1941 in Tula.
Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2002).
From 1961 to 1965 studied at the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography, Faculty of Drama (course of B. Zon).
From 1965 to 1970 — soloist of the Leningrad Musical Comedy Theater.
Since 1970, artist of the Leningrad Regional Concert Philharmonic Orchestra.
Since 1993, he has collaborated with the St. Petersburg Classical Theater, where he played leading roles in works by A. Chekhov, F. Dostoevsky and L. Andreev.
Currently he is an artist of the National Concert and Symphonic Organization "Petersburg-Concert". Here, over the years, he has prepared and presented solo performances - original compositions of many famous works of world literature.
Since 2009, Dean of the Faculty of Theatre of the Baltic Institute of Ecology, Politics and Law (BIEPL).
