Born in Ukraine, she lives in Montreal and works in both countries. In her personal projects, she explores the everyday lives of ordinary people and how politics invades the personal sphere.
Her first feature documentary Don't Worry, The Doors Will Open ( 2019) won the New Vision Award at the RIDM in Montreal.
Intercepted premiered at the Berlinale, and is part of Generation Ukraine, a collection of 12 documentaries co-produced by ARTE on the long-term impact of the war, made and produced in Ukraine.
