In 2016, Bator Dorzhiev's debut film, the psychological thriller "The Killer", was released in limited release in Ulan-Ude cinemas.
In 2018, he took part in the film almanac "Ulan-Ude, I Love You", where he shot one of the short stories.
From 2021-2023, he studied at the film school "TheOneFilm" on the filmmaking courses - curator Valentin Bespalay, and screenwriting - curator Andrey Garyazh.
Also actively worked on Moscow film sets from an administrator to the second director.
In 2023, he won a grant at the "Baikal Pitching 2023" in Irkutsk with the script "Aba and son", the first draft of which Bator wrote back in 2014.
