Bator Dorzhiev, born in Buryatia.
In 2016, Bator Dorzhiev's debut film, the psychological thriller "The Killer", was released in limited release in Ulan-Ude cinemas.
In 2018, he took part in the film almanac "Ulan-Ude, I Love You", where he shot one of the short stories.
From 2021-2023, he studied at the film school "TheOneFilm" on the filmmaking courses - curator Valentin Bespalay, and screenwriting - curator Andrey Garyazh.
Also actively worked on Moscow film sets from an administrator to the second director.
In 2023, he won a grant at the "Baikal Pitching 2023" in Irkutsk with the script "Aba and son", the first draft of which Bator wrote back in 2014.
In 2024, the film company TheOneStudio won a grant from the IRI (Internet Development Institute) with Bator's script "Aba and son". Based on which the film of the same name was shot
