This story is about the events of the beginning of the century, about the circus where the troupe's favorite Alyosha grew up. After his mother, the acrobat Maria-Louise, died, his childhood ended. Revolutionary events affected the fate of the small circus - and the boy was left alone. But when the Bolshevik Stepan Ratushny appeared in his life, Alyosha began performing in the circus again.
