First essay and work of memory carried out in Soviet Ukraine on the artificial famine of 1932-33, based on testimonies of survivors and unpublished photographic documents, coming from a batch of 400 glass negatives found at a private home in the village of Novoserhiivka in Donbass. This first documentary by the son-in-law was broadcast on Ukrainian television only several years after independence under the title Eyewitnesses of the Holodomor 1933.
