The film is inspired by the story of Lake Eldorado and how the Spanish tried to find gold there. The action takes place in Africa. An American who comes to look for something in the jungle sees Indians bringing offerings to their God. Gold fever takes hold of the foreigner who wants to take the gold by all means.
