Plot synopsis
Beltagou, a poor and indebted peasant, lets himself be bought by Kourbachi, a smuggler leader. Poulat, Boltagout's brother, joins the Bolsheviks who send him to convince his brother to join the Red Army. Ragno, Poulat's daughter, is taken prisoner by the Bandits. Boltagou helps her escape and sets a trap for Kourbachi, whose gang is neutralized.
