Plot synopsis

A 20-minute military-patriotic sequence about the heroism of people from the rear during the Second World War - girls and boys who were sent from school to clear the fields of mines in the Vologda region. The film recorded interviews with some of the participants in these events. At the time of filming, they were still alive, although they were over eighty years old, and through these stories we understand how they fought, loved, suffered. Today, none of the participants in these events are alive.
