In a small provincial town, two friends, Shiriaev and Molotok, and their colleague, the beautiful Nadia, are vegetating on local television. All three dream of earning a lot of money and becoming stars in the capital. Suddenly, an idea comes to them: to organize a reality TV show whose participants will have to find Kolchak's gold. Obsessed with the lure of gain, the heroes set off in pursuit of the treasure by plane, train and car. Crazy adventures await them along the way and they do not yet know the main secret...
