On a major television channel, a variety show is being recorded: New Year's Eve, the stars are on stage. Above the rows of the audience the powerful voice of the stage manager can be heard: "You have come to have fun, but don't forget that this is also a job. We have fun, we laugh. In the images, I can see absolutely everyone." This is not true: most of these extras will never appear on screen. But if we follow one of the regulars of these recordings on the way home, we will see things that television will never show.
