After a failed suicide attempt, two young people find themselves in a hospital. For Alexei, it is the first suicide attempt, for Tolik, it is the seventeenth. And the latter explains to his new friend that it is not so easy to end one's life. The friends decide to be united because, in a team, it is easier to achieve success and they are convinced that they can succeed together. When they leave the hospital, they meet Marina, a former athlete who devoted her whole life to preparing for the Olympic Games, before being excluded from the national team due to a serious trauma.
