Plot synopsis
Paramedic Gleb Glebovich sees patients at a rural zemstvo hospital. With a sense of dignity, he prescribes them either baking soda or a glass of castor oil as treatment. A paramedic tries to extract the aching tooth of sexton Vonmiglasov with pliers, but fails.
