Plot synopsis
The action takes place in Russia at the beginning of the 20th century. Ryjik (i.e. Redhead) is the nickname of Sasha, an abandoned boy. He wanders around Russia with an actor and finds himself faced with all sorts of difficult situations including the death of his friend the actor.
