Biography
Russian theater and film actress.
Honored Artist of Russia (2019), recipient of the Government of the Russian Federation Award (2015) and other awards such as the "Chaika" (Seagull), "Triumph," and "Golden Eagle" awards.
Born on October 12, 1976, in the city of Khasavyurt in Dagestan. At the age of 13, she moved with her family to Moscow.
After high school, she entered the Russian Academy of Theater Arts and, after a year, the Moscow Theater Academy's School-Studio in the class of Oleg Efremov. She graduated in 1999.
From 1999 to 2001, she worked at the Moscow Art Theatre (MKHAT) where she played the role of Nina in Chekhov's "The Seagull" and the role of Mavka in Lesya Ukrainka's "The Song of the Forest."
In 2001, she joined the company of the Pushkin Drama Theatre in Moscow.
She made her screen debut in 1998 in the television series "Chekhov & Co." Since 2002, she has appeared in films regularly. She gained recognition in 2006 with her roles in the films "The Piranha Hunt" and "Wanted for a Nanny." She graduated from the MKHAT (Moscow Art Theatre) School-Studio in 1999 (class of O. Efremov). From 1999 to 2001, she was an actress at the Moscow Art Theatre. In 2001, she joined the Pushkin Theatre company.
